Did you write Death of a Scriptwriter in response to the televised series Hamish? Although I enjoyed the series, Hamish was unrecognizable and I thought they took great liberties with your characters..

M.C. Beaton Yes, I did write Death of a Scriptwriter because of the bruising I got from the television series. The television company has gone bankrupt. There is a God!
