Thank you for actually replying to me! Never expected an author I like to do that. I do have a question. Do you allow people to write fanfiction about your books or draw art?
Elliott Kay
Hi! Happy to answer--in fact I only got a push email from Goodreads on this just now. I don't check the site often, sorry.
I don't think of fanfic or fan art as something an author can allow or disallow. While I side-eye the whole "the fans own this now!" stuff I see from some corners, that's not to say a creator gets to decide how fans react or what they do with something.
On a more personal note, I absolutely LOVE fanfic--but am unlikely to read fanfic of my own stuff for reasons other writers have delved into before. You run the risk of cross-pollinating ideas and questions of credit due if things are similar and that gets messy. Best if I don't get involved. But I wholly support fanfic in general.
AND I LOVE FAN ART SO MUCH AND ZOMG I WOULD BE THRILLED IF I EVER SAW FAN ART FROM MY BOOKS.

Hi Elliot, I been wondering(I know it is a stupid/weird question). What are the chances of Alex getting Rachel and Lorelei, pregnant I mean we all know of half-demons and Nephilims? Just didn't know if that was possible in your stories also would make a unique book. Thanks

Just got done with Dead Man's Debt and was wondering if this is the end for Tanner? Is he just gonna ride off into the sunset or will he have make some hard choices. And what about the remaining pirates like Lauren and Hannah? Are we(as in the readers) just gonna never hear from the them again? Do you even know yourself? :) Really enjoyed the series thus far. Can't wait for it to continue
