Hi Mark! I don't know if anyone's told you, but you write like a scientist who can write. You don't use any unnecessary words, which makes your books fast paced. Do you think your career as a scientist has had an impact on your writing style and is it something you're aware of while writing?

Mark Lawrence I'm sure many things have impacted my writing style, but wordiness or lack thereof is really just a matter of personal taste.

I just wanted to say that you have become my favorite fantasy writer. Your style is very inspiring and i cannot even begin to try and describe the way you make me feel when i read your books. Anyway, when you write how do you come up with your connections between scenes and actions? How do you choose your scenes f.e. after torching Mabberton the next is on Lich Road.
