I grew up with Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys, and I am an avid cozy mystery reader. There is so much rich history in West Texas, and I knew it would make the perfect setting for a cozy mystery. While Cedar Wells is a fictitious town, it’s history is loosely based on tidbits of historical fact about the area surrounding my hometown.
