My upcoming second novel, Send Judah First: The Erased Life of an Enslaved Soul" will launch in August of 2019. This historical novel was inspired by the life of Judah, an enslaved cook at Belle Grove Plantation (Middletown, VA) from 1817-1836.
I had opportunity to lead a student overnight field trip to Belle Grove where I learned about Judah and was incredibly inspired to write her story.
