What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

M.H. Thaung There's so much advice out there, I don't know I could say anything helpful! Maybe just: know *why* you're writing. Whatever you produce, no matter how good, isn't going to be loved by everyone. So if you know what *you* want out of the process, you'll be in a good position to weigh up other people's feedback, reviews, critiques and so on. You can then decide if/what you're going to change without worrying your work will mutate into something you don't recognise.
