Firstly let me apologize for missing your question, Aman. Miranda is a young woman, a composite of several young women, myself included (although I am no longer young). She buys a rundown resort at a location called Miranda Bay, simply because that's her name. She thinks it's 'meant to be', and since she has just inherited some money from her grandmother, what better way to spend it than on a tourist resort? Sadly, the resort is nothing like she imagined. She struggles with the enormity of her newly acquired resort, and how to make it profitable. It's a mess and she in turn becomes a mess. So we read how things turn out for her, and what she does and does not do to help her situation.
