As I was reading Katt vs Dogg today, my mind started to wander and I began to wonder approximately how much you are involved in the writing process when collaborating with Patterson? In what ways do you contribute the most? i.e. funky word play, suggested idea changes, background research (such as common Katt vs. Dogg animalities, or other fact-based info included in any collaborative books).

When I write with Mr. Patterson, he does a very detailed outline -- maybe 80 pages long. I execute against that outline and show him my work every month. Then he does the final draft on his own. We are true collaborators.
