How dark is this book? Does it go into detail and graphic descriptions of the torture? or is this book more focused on moving forward with the trial and who did it?

Lydia Gates Yes, it describes the torture. It made me sick to read it. But it's not horrible compared to some books.

Tina Rules No, it is very simple so far. I am 164 pages in so far and the trial is getting closer. There have been 'violent' scenes but they certainly haven't been riveting.
