I've just consumed 'Alone', not read...consumed! And I have to ask...where did you get the inspiration for Alone? It is brilliant! (I gushed about it with a great deal more words in my review)

(view spoiler)[So I saw! Thank you, and I'm so pleased you enjoyed it and that it satisfied a reading appetite :)
I originally wanted to write an antagonists to lovers story (actually I still want to write that) and I thought of a scenario where two scientists were stuck in close quarters for an extended period of time thinking they were monitoring something like...I don't know, tomato plant growth. But as it turned out, THEY were the ones being monitored.
Then I had the usual brain wander and thought - wouldn't it be great, and also horrible, if it was actually one person alone for aaaaages, knowing they were part of a psych experiment and then someone turned up and flipped everything on its head? And it snowballed from there :)
The plot was really easy in my head once I settled on it, and the "twist" was apparent from the get-go.
When I had those ideas set, it became really clear to me what kind of person would sign up for something like that and thus, Celeste was born. (hide spoiler)]

I recently listend to the audiobook „Ask, Tell“ and now got an ARC of „Merry Weihnachten“ and just wondered, do you have any connection to Germany? Cuz it’s not one of the typical countries for foreigners in books, so I’m curious. Btw I loved the audiobook and I’m already excited to start reading „Merry Weihnachten“ 🥰
