Just finished reading Zournal #1 and I must say that I truly enjoyed it! Made me laugh and had me on the edge of my seat. I plan on reading the rest of your books but I did have a question because i dont know if i missed it but was it only theory on how the zombies turned or did we know exactly how it happens?

Hi Arely,
So happy you are enjoying it! I love that kind of feedback!
I try to keep everything as real as possible so try to think of only what the people in that situation would know. It annoys me when every Zombie movie/book the people running through the woods happen to run into someone who was the head of the CDC and get the full scoop.
Over the course of the story it becomes pretty evident from different sources who is responsible and I think the way it comes to Steve and crew is pretty natural and makes sense. I don't think anyone in these situations would ever be able to know for sure exactly what happened but from the evidence they come across they're able to form a really strong Hypothesis.
I hope that answers your question! In other words, the theory turns out to be mostly true :-)

I'm going to suggest these to one of my sons, who is so into Zombie fiction that he used to sleep with the door to his bedroom locked and a baseball bat next to his bed! "Just in case." Hah! For a time I lived in a house that was being raised and set on high stumps. He loved this because he could lift the entry ladder up, so could sleep without the door closed, and with no fear of zompocalyse! An idea for Zournal?
