Tory Banknell I wanted Alicia to be the original Amie and the twist be that she hadn’t died after all and had been raised by someone else. That would have made sense why her vendetta was what it would have been. And she and Eamon could have been working together. The whole ending was just way too confusing and ICKKKKKKK. My biggest question was how would Amie’s baby not have serious developmental issues?

Charity I just finished this book and came here looking for the answer to this question too. I don't think I missed anything, I think it is loose end in this story. I wish the author had tied it up for us.

Melissa Bones I’m thinking Her brother also took on Alicia’s identity? If you go back to chapter 66 and reread it, it’s from Maggie’s perspective, it’s says along the lines of how Maggie has borrowed her name from a dead person as just as Aimee had borrows hers from a dead girl. And she writes her real name in the dust with her finger, taking longer to

The smile when she first confronted her brother dressed as Maggie, she recognised the smile, but she wouldn’t remember her brothers from that long ago would she?? I’d say it was Alicia’s smile she recognised.
