Roger Cousineau

I'm a bit confused about the twist at the end. Can someone explain it to me?

Tabor While, I think that Tricia's interpretation can be valid (one of my coworkers thinks the same thing). I did arrive at a different conclusion at the end of the story. My thought was that the cat, who assumed the girl's body, was the character portrayed throughout the story and she did fulfill her mission to kill the monster lurking above. I thought this was supported by the fact that when the main character falls through page, we see the little girl peering out through the castle and then she comes back to kill the monster. Overall, I think the story works either way!

Christina I read it the same way as Tabor, but I like Tricia's interpretation too.
