I was taken away when I read your Waterfire Saga. I had gotten that first book, Deep Blue, at a Scholastic Book Fair at my elementary school in 5th grade and absolutely loved it, so I read the rest which are also phenomenal. Thank you for writing them. I also got your recommendation for Stepsister, and I will totally look into it. When did you know you wanted o pursue this kind of work of writing awesome stories?
