Two books on this topic were released within days of each other: Midnight in Chernobyl by Adam Higginbotham and Chernobyl by Serhii Plokhy. Has anyone read both or seen a review where both are discussed? I’m wondering if I just read one which should it be?

It was not an easy read, some very technical information, about 40 different Russian characters to try and remember and skips back and forth a lot. I still found it to be an important book and glad I read it but complex (at least for me). (less)
