I'm a big fan of modern writers such as Peter Swanson, Gillian Flynn and John Boyne. But I don't really have a list of writers who are my inspirations.

Hello, John, I just finished The Good Samaritan and it was absolutely BRILLIANT!!! I'm already searching the public library for your other novels, but meanwhile: Have you been thinking at all about possibly writing a sequel?! I would like to see Laura brought to justice after all, and Effie seems to have a lot of potential ;-)
