Goodreads asked Ana Maria Selvaggio:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Ana Maria Selvaggio a) Butt in chair. 15 minutes a day if you can't manage anything more.
b) Dictate to your phone or tablet if you have to. Get it down, you can edit later.
c) Don't edit while you are writing if you can help it - core dump.
d) If you don't know the NAME or LOCATION of THINGY, do exactly that - put it in all caps so you can come back to it later.
e) Don't let guilt keep you from working on something. Life is busy. Pick it back up and move forward.
f) Read. Read. Read. Read different genres outside of your norm.
g) Write notes, keep a notebook on you at all times. I carry a pen and blank zines with me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgMi-...
