(view spoiler)[You have written such a phenomenal book that I can't put it down! I am sharing with everyone about how great this book is and recommending they read it. Such a sad history that happened, to those children and their families! So very glad you are bringing this to light. I can't wait to read more of your books. Do you think you will write something similar to this? (hide spoiler)]

My book of real life stories of Georgia Tann adoptees is already listed for preorders: Before and After (and a subtitle). It releases in October.
My next novel is hitting the editor's desk today. It's written in a similar style to Before We Were Yours and has some fascinating history in the post-Civil War era.
Actually, I already have several novels written in dual story lines with interested historical events that you'd probably enjoy, since you loved Before We Were Yours. Look at the three Carolina Chronicle book, starting with The Prayer Box. Another is Wildwood Creek. And then there is Dandelion Summer, which also has a nice historical strand and is optioned for film. The Lisa's Bookshelf page on my website shows all my books. You could sign up for my newsletter while you are there so I can keep you "in the know."
Thanks so much for all the sharing. Readers love to know what their friends are reading and I gain a lot of readers that way. Woo Hoo!

Hi Lisa - I really enjoyed listening to this book on Audible. It is so sad this could actually happen to a family. It's horrible enough they're poor, but to rip them apart seems completely unreasonable. Not bad enough, some of them end up with horrific people at the Children's Home and are abused. Thank you for this absolutely well-written story. Do you know where your next book will take you?

Hi. I am reading "Good Hope Road" and notice a discrepancy. When Drew arrives at the armory, he said he was dropped off. Jenilee asked him to take her to the hospital to see Nate and he said he had no means of transportation. Yet they left the armory, got in a truck and left for the hospital. ??? I have been reading/editing books for over 20 years. Need another reader???? Happy to help! Love your writing, Lisa.
