I thought the book was brilliant, multifaceted and enlightening. But...I was a little disappointed that the main narrative arc seemed to be not her relationship with Nigeria and the gains and losses of coming home, but the resolution of her romance with Obinze without acknowledgment of the cost of his leaving his wife and child. This seemed like a "happy" ending that betrayed the honesty of the rest of the book?
