Where do you take inspiration from when it comes to creating a new story? Also, any advice for young (15-year-old) kids who are interested in writing?

I get inspiration from real life, little things people say and do. My number one advice is to try an believe in yourself and the story you want to tell.

Hey I finally finished girl in pieces. I bought it four years ago and stopped at page 50. Picked it up on Tuesday this week. Finished it in two days. I can’t help but think that I want more of this story, now that I have finished. Would you consider writing more in this world? I was reading that you would consider Louisa and her journals. I actually think that would make a fascinating concept. Or how about a prequel?
