They're mostly the same, but the book version does have extra pages (they're scattered throughout rather than all in one place, so the overall change is not huge), and there are some minor changes throughout. Most of these are just small improvements to the text (though there was one larger change that I thought was for the worse- I have ideas about why this change might have been made though and if my ideas are correct then I understand). Unsurprisingly, the book version does not have the author notes that were at the end of each zine.

To someone who has one version or the other and is wondering whether they need both, I'd say: it's beneficial (in that it's interesting to read them alongside each other and look at the differences) but absolutely not essential to understanding or enjoying the story.(less)
