Deeena
Deeena asked Cara Dee:

Hello Cara, please, how is reading order of ALL your M/M romance books? I started with Home (GREAT!) and Sleepless, but in Sleepless are characters which I dont know (from Out). I don't know, what read next - Out? Or When Forever Ended? Is here some connection to Aftermath? Noah? Thank you for your advice, you are sooo amazing! D.

Cara Dee Okay, I’ve been trying for an hour now to put together an order for all my books—not just Camassia books—but it’s turning out to be impossible. Many of them, you can simply read however and whenever you want. Then there are a few that cross over. But anyway, this is the best I came up with.
KEEP IN MIND. A “guest appearance” from old characters doesn’t mean you have to read those book before. They’re just for fun.
Welcome to Bakersfield
#1 Aftermath — Austin & Cam. [STANDALONE]
#2 Outcome — Chase & Remy. This is the Aftermath sequel. Austin and Cam are there too.
Notes: Austin and Cam make über brief appearances in Out.
The Alaskan Wilderness
#1 Northbound — Quinn & Declan. [STANDALONE]
#2 Northland — Logan & Kyle. This one’s relatively standalone, as there are readers who read this one first and thought it was the first book. Quinn and Declan are present throughout the book.
Notes: The North guys will return in Lani and Jax’s short story, Camgirl. Logan and Kyle also make a brief appearance in the epilogue of Three Dirty Harts.
Public Display
#1 Public Display of Everything — Cory & Flynn. [STANDALONE]
#2 Public Display of More — Luke. [STANDALONE] Short story “sequel” that will be posted as a freebie...one day.
Notes: Cory and Flynn pop up briefly in With Brave Wings.
Hollywoodland
#1 Breaking Free — Sophie & Tennyson. Includes Noah’s “before Julian” as a secondary character.
#2 With Brave Wings — Sophie & Tennyson. Includes Noah’s “before Julian” as a secondary character. Cory and Flynn from Public Display of Everything appear a little bit too.
#3 Noah — Noah & Julian. [STANDALONE] Tennyson and Sophie appear plenty.
Notes: They’re all friends, but their stories stand on their own. All of them make future visits in Out.
In a Utah Cabin
#1 Forbidden Gem — Dean & Gemma. [STANDALONE]
In a Colorado Cabin
#1 On the Offensive — Peyton & Zack. [STANDALONE]
Bring Your Whip to Work, AKA the Touch Series
The Individual Novelettes and Novellas
#1 Look but Don’t Touch — Nicholas & Kayla
#2 Twice the Touch — Mark/Evangeline/Brayden
#3 Touch to Surrender — Brayden/Mark/Evangeline
#4 Touch of Trouble — Kayla & Nicholas
#5 Comforting Touch — Chelsea & Rio
#6 Touching Ink — Cade/Dylan/Gabriella
The Outtakes and Novella from Touch: The Complete Series
#7 Touching Truth — Greg/Ryan/Angel
And like…half a dozen others, plus the epilogue.
Notes: I wouldn’t call any of these particularly standalone. Technically, you can read some of them without the others, but the characters are for the most part all there, and some plot points go from book to book. Ryan from Touching Truth, and possibly his partners, will appear in the Auctioned Series, as he’s one of the Quinn brothers. (Darius Quinn’s brother.) You do not need to read Ryan’s backstory, though. His story in Touching Truth is how he finds his loves. His part in Auctioned will be work-related, and he’ll simply be a family man.
Camassia Cove — Listed Chronologically.
#0 Path of Destruction — Lincoln & Adeline. [STANDALONE] The prologue of sorts of Camassia. As in, Camassia happens to be where they move in the epilogue. It’s where Lincoln grew up.
Secondary characters, big or small, that have or will have their own stories: Casey, Madigan, Abel, Jesse, Ellis.
#1 Home — Dominic & Adrian. [STANDALONE]
Secondary characters, big or small, that have or will have their own stories: Cash, Willow, Lola, Justin, mystery epilogue guy.
#2 When Forever Ended — William & Kelly. [STANDALONE]
Secondary characters, big or small, that have or will have their own stories: Alex, Jameson, Adam, Jack, Matt, Aurora, Will’s wife.
#3 Inappropriately Yours — Isla & Jack, Chloe & Aiden. [STANDALONE]
Secondary characters, big or small, that have or will have their own stories: Gray, Adam, Alessia, Lincoln, Adeline, Adrian, Willow.
#4 Uncomplicated Choices — Casey & Ellis. [STANDALONE]
Secondary characters, big or small, that have or will have their own stories: Lincoln, Adeline, Madigan, Adrian, Darius, Jameson.
#5 Out — Zach & Henry. [STANDALONE]
Secondary characters, big or small, that have or will have their own stories: Dominic, Adrian, Mattie, Ty.
Speshul appearances by characters from Breaking Free and Noah. And Aftermath. *scratches head.* I think I got them all.
#6 Power Play — Abel & Madigan. [STANDALONE]
Secondary characters, big or small, that have or will have their own stories: Gray, Aiden, Jesse, Bellamy, Lincoln, Adeline, Casey, Ellis, Adam, Alessia, Jameson, Justin.
#7 Three Dirty Harts — Andrew/Belle/Jace. [STANDALONE]
Secondary characters, big or small, that have or will have their own stories: Alex, Ellis, mention of Casey and a couple others.
Speshul appearances by Logan and Kyle from Northland.
#8 Auctioned — Gray & Darius. [STANDALONE]
Secondary characters, big or small, that have or will have their own stories: Madigan and Willow. The rest are only mentions. When someone gets kidnapped, they tend to not see their family and friends for a while. :|
Speshul appearance by Ryan from the Touch Series.
#9 Out For the Holidays — Zach & Henry. Sequel to Out.
Secondary characters, big or small, that have or will have their own stories: Look, everyone is in this story. LOL.
Speshul appearances by Noah, Julian, Maliah, Brooklyn.
Notes: This is the thing about Camassia. Out For the Holidays is already released, yet it takes place after Power Play, Three Dirty Harts, and Auctioned, all of which haven’t been published. And just from the top of my head, I have two unwritten novels that take place somewhere between Path of Destruction and Home. So you really can read them in whatever order you prefer. But here is the established chronological order thus far, and novels will get added as more characters pop up in my head.
If I ever figure out the method to my madness, I’ll let you know! LOL.
