I took several years off from writing books to focus on raising our children and enjoying other aspects of life. However, I was then ready to commence writing again and was reviewing various ideas for my next book, either fiction or non-fiction.
As Fate would have it, I was introduced to the man who is the subject of the book for Fate Came Calling, his name is Warren Vest.
After meeting with Warren and his family members a few times and conferring with several people about the full scope of the project, and learning about Warren's unexpected incredible life and the arc of events that drastically altered his life and that of many others, I accepted the unique opportunity to write Fate Came Calling.
It took 3-years to interview people, research and write Fate Came Calling.
