That's an excellent question! Would they be empty, soulless fleshbags suitable for receiving the power of an energy-state being? Or would they be useless lumps of flesh because they don't have and never had a soul? Would the mystic connection be the same as with Tamara, Amber, and the others, or would it be nonexistent because they were artificially grown outside of Sparky's influence?

Idea for a short story. You know how Mary loved to take Erik into mirror fun-houses? What if Erik goes into one because he is missing Marry, only this one is magic. It show physic reflections of how you are seen by others, both as images and a physic understanding. Ex. Christiana's reflected image of Eric would show the THING that eats souls while last mirror would show Eric his own self image and force him KNOW it.?

Hi, first off great series, it's been a real inspiration for my own writing. There was one thing I have always wondered. What happened to Eric's home earth? He found a post apocalypse one like 500 years in the future. Was that an alternate he stumbled upon or his actual earth. If so what happened, world war 3, virus, environmental collapse?
