Hey Crystal, sorry I didn't get a chance to respond to this message sooner. We do run Kickstarters for people to get copies before the official release, and usually, we also have a way for them to be ordered online such that books ship the second we have them, but due to a death in my family (my 97-year-old mom died), there were a lot of balls dropped.
That said, Age of Death is coming out in February, and the Kickstarter for it will launch in just a few days. People who back that will get the books in late October (so 3 months before the official retail release). Also, we'll have a pre-order campaign for people who miss the Kickstarter, and anyone who wants to get the books early, can do so from one or the other of those places.

Hi Michael. I love your books and writing style. I especially love the anti-grimdark feel of your books. So many current fantasy books just depress me. I remember reading somewhere that you write books that you would enjoy reading yourself. Given I love your writing style I was wondering what other authors you enjoy reading?
