Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Emerald Wilson-Bey My most recent book is non-fiction, and I got the idea from running into an old friend, who is a senior citizen, and she shared the story with me, but I forgot that she had actually told me about it, briefly many years ago, so we ended up recalling the story and discussing it again, very extensively. After that, the whole story just haunted me, literally, for weeks and finally I made the decision to share the story.
