Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kendra Alvey Ghostapalooza deals with a ghost excess in Bluebonnet. I got the idea when I was talking to a friend about what it was like being a small teenage girl in mosh pits in the 90s. I liked to see bands and I liked to be up front so braving a mosh pit was often part of the deal but I often felt scared and like I was SURVIVING something, not just seeing live music. I started thinking: what if that happened to Sam? The ghosts in my books want to be seen and Sam can see them. What if there were just too many of them? What if something good became overwhelming?
