Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marina Costa If you are asking about the ongoing one, "The second shuttle boat" (A doua cursa), it was last September, about 2 weeks after I sent to print "Echipajul" (The crew). I was in the tram, going to my mother's, and thinking about the book and its characters. Then it dawned on me that a certain secondary character who had drawn the shortest stick in life deserved a second chance to happiness. And that I could write a book about him, starting at about 2 years after the final chapter of the first book... It shocked me so much that I was nearly descending from the tram one station earlier :P
