Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jessica Kaye I love reading fairy tale retellings, and, at the time of writing, I couldn't find one about Rapunzel. They say write what you want to read, so I did.

"Rapunzel's Prince" was partly inspired by "Ender's Shadow," by Orson Scott Card. I found parallel novels fascinating, and I began to wonder what the prince was doing the whole time he was away.
