Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kim Simons Dance of Deception was inspired by a real life event. I had a relationship with a man who became obsessive and began to stalk me in a very frightening fashion. The character, Kira Michaels, is the strong female character I imagined who would over come this situation in a deceptive and surprising way. She is a bad-ass female with a taste for reckless abandon. The chase is in her blood the adrenaline fix is her drug and she craves it.
