How do you get inspired to write?

Matthew Devlin I have trouble becoming inspired, so I tend to look at pictures. I have dozens of art books that offer inspiration, but failing that, I will just type a phrase like "cool pictures" or "weird pictures" into the search bar. I generally find something that gets my creative mind working. I would advise any author to invest in a writing prompt book, such as The Writer's Block by Jason Rekulak.
