One more question then I promise I'll shut up! Toward the end of 'Nearly Normal', you describe the great obstacle of getting published. What advice do you have to offer those who are currently struggling to get their work out there?

Cea Sunrise Person Stick with it and don't give up! But it's also very important to accept critical feedback and use it to improve your work...don't just keep resubmitting the same thing again and again. If you're being rejected ask agents why, take writing courses, get feedback from other published writers and rewrite and rewrite until you get it right! Also for books, make sure your query letter is perfect--expect to spend a good deal of time on it.
