Hello, so I read the blurb of the book and I feel intrigued to read it. But I'm a freshman in highschool, so is this book appropriate for somebody my age?

Stuart Turton Hi there! The book is basically a mystery, but it does have some brutal violence. There are also allusions to sexual violence, but nothing shown or described. No swear words at all. That said the tone of the novel is very dark and some of the issues are disturbing. Hope that helps.

I've just finished my seventh time (which is no exaggeration) reading The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, and it still fills me with that feeling of suspense and unease, and the end always leaves me speechless and will always shock me - no matter how many times I re-read it! I was wondering if you had any books that give you that same shock when you revisit them? A huge thank you to you (and to Doris!).
