How do you deal with writer’s block?

David William Pearce I tend to deal with writer's block, which for me is often more about where the story should go at wherever I am in the story, with some form of research-either in the style of the story or in connection to the story arc. If I just need to write, I have have a couple of blogs I use to write about either music or life in general, and this allows me to keep writing regularly, but with no word-count or limit involved; it's just whatever comes to mind. I also write short vignettes about the characters to keep them close when I'm editing or working on other things.
