How is Joshua Hallal so strong? I get how in the second book he falls into a patch of slime or jello which took the impact of his damage, but after, he falls off a cenote and the Eiffel Tower and still survives. I either have a horrible memory of SSPX or I didn't seee it, but how did he survive?

There is a very long history of bad guys -- and many heroes -- surviving impossible things in spy movies. Or superhero movies. Or science fiction movies. Is it possible that Joshua could really survive those things? Not very. But it's also not very likely that a group of children would save the world on a regular basis. Enjoying fiction is often about suspending your disbelief.
