Good question. I don't think I really have a hidden gem. I don't really follow the community when it comes to what I read, so I never know how much a book is loved by others or not. Sometimes I'll refuse to read reviews, because I don't want anyone giving me reasons not to love a book. Lol

And yes, I would love to write dystopian or sci-fi with a little romance someday.
