Jane asked Kristen Ashley:

In the few books I have read by you, (I'm a new fan~), the male characters really screw up, either in the beginning or at the end of the story, but they don't actually apologize verbally. They just get really sweet. Usually it is the women who apologize for getting mad for so long. Is there a reason behind this?

Kristen Ashley Not really, except that I believe actions speak louder than words. A person can say anything...and not really mean it. But if they demonstrate it with consistency and love, that says more than words can say.

That said, not all my heroes do that. Some apologize verbally too. And then put those words into action.
