Speak is one of my favorite books of all time! How do you find your character's voice and write from their point of view so convincingly?

Laurie Halse Anderson I'm not sure, to be honest. I've written a lot of really crappy stuff that has never seen the light of day. Maybe the trick is to write a lot and only share the stuff that is good.

Also, I revise a book about a million bazillion times before I send it in to be published. Seriously.
