Laura Thalassa Hi back! I LOVED The Land of the Beautiful Dead--R. Lee Smith is an INSANE writer, and everyone should go read her, NOW! Haha. Seriously, though, it blows my mind that she's not more well known. As for whether that book was inspiration for The Fallen World Series, nope, it was a total coincidence (her novel came out close a year after The Queen of All that Dies), and I actually only read the novel itself at the end of 2017 after another reader recommended it to me. But they *do* have some awesome similarities and in general, R. Lee Smith is a writer who does inspire me, so you're not wrong there! We just happen to share some twisted ideas! Muahahaha! ;)

Obviously the Unearthly and Bargainer series are set in the same world (Peel Academy!). Do yo have a timeline for them happening before/after/concurrent with each other? Is there any overlap of characters--obvious or subtle--that you've intentionally put in the series?
