Hi April Henry!! I am a big fan of your books!! For school, we are researching authors and I picked you. We need 3 subtopics about what influenced you to write, I already have your childhood so I need 2 more. So what did influence you to write?

April Henry One influence was when I was about 30 I read a really bad book. I kept thinking it would get better and it never did. When I finished it, I thought - Is that all you need to do to get published? Because I can certainly write a book as bad as this one!

I am also inspired when I hear about/think of a story line that gives me chills. And when I hear from readers, especially people who don't especially like to read.
