You shouldn't judge someone based on whom they love, and kids shouldn't be taught that homosexuality is a bad thing.
Drama was actually on the banned books list(I don't know when), because of the gay characters. There's been a big pushback against banning books in public schools(rightfully so), and so you can find it in most libraries now.(less)
