The manga started in the seasonal (4 issues a year) magazine Nemesis, which was a new spin-off magazine of Monthly Shonen Sirius. In 2014, the magazine changed it's schedule and started releasing 6 issues a year. In August 2018, Issue #41 was the last issue of Nemesis as the spin-off magazine was ceasing publication. In the same issue it was announced that Die Wergelder manga was moving to Monthly Shonen Sirius starting 2019 #1 issue, released on November 2018. Even though the new magazine was monthly, the manga kept it's bimonthly (each 2nd month) release. While Nemesis was a shonen spin-off magazine, majority of its series were seinen.
Die Wergelder is still being serialized in Shonen Sirius as of the Jan. 2020 issue. A collected Vol. 5 was released this year in Japan : https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/ベアゲルター-...
It's highly likely Vol. 6 won't release until late 2021, so the U.S. edition Vol. 3 probably won't release until 2022 at the earliest.
