The author includes a "28 Days of Hope for Your Home" addendum at the end of the book. The basic idea is to start with one task (doing the dishes) that you do consistently every single day and over the next 28 days you work up to a handful of daily tasks that you still do every single day. The point is CONSISTENCY. She encourages you to consider scheduling weekly tasks and shares her "basic plan" like doing all the laundry on Monday or mopping all the floors on Thursday, etc. But the idea is to encourage the reader to create a system that works best for them. She's really funny and that helps you remember her points. I've been trying her system for about a month now and its working!

Not really. It’s mostly daily and weekly tasks geared towards people who let things pile up. I did find some useful advice though because it’s about changing your mindset. Overall I found the writing entertaining and liked the book enough to check out her second one.
