MaryElle Campbell asked D.L. Finn:

I would like to ask you for your help with something that I can not do. I am not computer literate by any means. I can’t seem to understand how to set up my own website. I have tried multiple times and failed. I don’t have the concept of it and what I am supposed to do if I did have one. Is there any possible chance that you could help me or tell me someone that could help me? Maryellen

D.L. Finn Hi MaryEllen:) I am equally as challenged, my daughter helped me a lot at first. I started with using Wix.com for my website after going to GoDaddy to get my address. It was very simple and they did a lot of the work. But with my blog it wasn't as user friendly, so I switched everything over to Wordpress.com. There's a bit more work involved but they do have themes to pick from to get started. I still find myself looking up how to do things. Blogging is much easier there as are the interactions and dealing with comments. I've had a few issues with being unsubscribed to sites I'd subscribed to, but I have learned as I go. I use my site to list my books and links, blogging, list books I've read, about me and how to contact me. It is whatever you want and need.

I saw another message from you in my email but can't find it to respond. I have been into researching my family history, too.

There are a lot options out there that can be overwhelming, just pick what seems to work for you and there is a lot answers I've found on the internet when you get stuck on one thing-- which I still do :)

Thanks for the question I hope it helped a bit. There are people who will help you with this for a fee. Have a great week.
