What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Jana Oliver New writers have to understand that what they're writing (at least at first) is pretty much going to suck. it's the nature of the business. An Olympic athlete didn't get to that level after a few days' practice. Write as much as you can, read as much as you can -- because then you can see how other writers craft their stories -- and never give up. Make stories because you love them, not because you feel you have to.
