What was the first thing that got you interested in writing Historical novels as oppossed to say Paranormals or Sci-fis?

Glynnis Campbell I actually read a lot of science fiction when I was growing up, but I've always had a soft spot for knights, castles, swords, chivalry, King Arthur, and Robin Hood. So when I started writing, that's where my stories ended up!
