It has been a few years since I read this book. I remember the plot etc. but can't seem to remember if there is anything that a 14 year old girl shouldn't read. Thanks in advance for any comments

Jayne I think this is a perfect book for a 14 year old! The rape is a non graphic page of what happens when an innocent teen goes to a party. So life lesson, in a way that might make a young girl think about her choices. Drugs and sex are not an integral part of this story. The story is about best friends forever....until the end.
Olivia Colville I would not recommend for a young teen. Sex scenes (including rape) are described in some detail.
Nancyann I am an adult and currently in the middle of the novel. It would be perfectly fine for a teenager to read. Actually it reads more like a YA book than a story for grownups.
Christine Full of swearing and sex...if that is okay with you.
Madelaine There is a lot of sex and some of it can get pretty detailed. Other than that, it's fine!
Becky I think it's a fairly safe book for a teenage girl to read. I was very innocent during my teen years, so it would have been a little bit of a shock to my system to read a few things in there. But any teen who is in the midst of their adolescence and pushing their boundaries (my adolescence happened in my early twenties) would not be surprised by some of the problematic choices and events in the book.
Victoria G I read it when I was fourteen and thought that it was absolute perfection.
Christopher I read it at the age of 13 and it was amazing.
Suzanne Barnum There is discussion of rape, drugs, sex.
