Hello. My name is Kashe and I consider myself an author because I've written poetry and books. I have some questions. How did you publish your books? How and when did you get recognized by the audience? And if its not too personal, what are you, Nikki, and Erin studying and what do they want to do when they grow older?

Rachel Renée Russell Hello Kashe, I'm so glad to hear that you enjoy writing as well! Dork Diaries was published because I have an awesome literary agent. He was able to get in touch with a publisher who LOVED the book idea, and the rest is history!! I got a lot of attention because a lot of people enjoyed reading my books! Right now, both of my daughters are working full-time, so they aren't studying anything in school. My daughter, Erin, used to help with Dork Diaries, but now she has writtern her own picture book. My other daughter, Nikki, is currently an illustrator for Dork Diaries. So they’re both SUPER successful!
