Thank you, and excellent question! My favourite has to be Demeter, goddess of the harvest. The Greek gods were a pretty nasty bunch but, as far as I know, Demeter hasn't engaged in any particularly nasty business.
Plus, Demeter = harvest = food. What's not to love?
