Jamie asked John Joseph Adams:

I've a copy of The Way of the Wizard that I just started reading tonight. On page 49 of the anthology it is apparently taken over by a work entitled Delfina's Gold by Willard Thompson which doesn't relinquish control until page 97, cheating me of the end of Susanna Clarke's John Usglass and the Cumbrian Charcoal Burner as well as the stories by Deliah Sherman, Jeffrey Ford, and C.C. Finlay. Have I any recourse?

John Joseph Adams Sorry, I just saw this—I hadn't seen these Goodreads questions coming in. That's really bizarre. You're talking about a print book? What edition? If it's the trade paperback edition I indie-published (with the blue cover), I assume that must have been some kind of strange CreateSpace printing error (as it looks like the Thompson book is probably an indie title and its trade paperback edition is probably also printed via CreateSpace). If you can confirm this information, let me know and I'll see if I can reach out to a contact at Amazon (if you haven't sorted this out some other way in the five months since you asked!). If you do, please send me a regular email at johnjosephadams / @ / gmail so I'll be sure to see it. Apologies again for missing this when you first posted it.
